Joe Cipparone Attends the 2020 ACTEC Annual Meeting
Attorney Joe Cipparone attended the annual meeting of the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel (ACTEC) in Boca Raton, Florida, March 5-7, 2020. He attended seminars on estate planning with retirement benefits after passage of the SECURE Act, the ethics of disclosure of client files and statements in contested litigation, the elimination of bias in the practice of law, and estate planning in this age of assisted reproductive technology and 23andMe. He went to meetings of the Elder Law Committee, the Employee Benefits Committee and the Technology in the Practice Committee. Over 600 lawyers and law school professors from all over the country attended the annual meeting.
