Jack Reardon Attends the 2020 Heckerling Institute
Attorney Jack Reardon attended the 54th Annual Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning held in Orlando, Florida, January 13-17, 2020. The Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning is the nation’s premier conference for estate planning professionals. The five-day program covers topics of timely interest to attorneys, trust officers, accountants, charitable giving professionals, insurance advisors, elder law specialists, wealth management professionals, and nonprofit advisors. Some of the seminar sessions Jack attended included Special Needs Trusts, Planning with Grantor and Non-Grantor Trusts, Ethical Issues with Special Needs Trusts, the Intersection of Estate Planning and the Gray Divorce, the SECURE Act, Protecting Vulnerable Seniors, Domestic and Foreign Asset Protection Trust Laws, and Charitable Giving with Retirement Benefits. Over 600 lawyers from all over the country attended the meeting.
